-
April 19
- Rivers Collegiate, Rivers
-
April 26
- Town Hall, Rossburn
Over the next few months, Caching Riding Mountain will once again be holding a series of public GPS and Geocaching workshops in communities around the Biosphere Reserve. These workshops are designed to introduce people to the GPS basics, their relationship to maps and compasses and to the sport of Geocaching (by actually taking the knowledge that participants have learnt in the first part of the workshop and using it to find caches hidden in the surrounding region). Workshops are geared towards anyone over the age of 8 years of age (minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian) that don’t mind both a mental and physical challenge - nothing to difficult, but there is driving and walking involved!
